Coronavirus and the Consumer

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…” Little, likely, did the great English writer, Charles Dickens, know that his words that used in the opening of the classic novel, A Tale of Two Cities, would still ring true some 160 years later. This time it wasn’t the lead up to the French Revolution, but another unlikely world terror… a silent terror, that goes by the name of COVID-19. The best of times is readily apparent in the tireless efforts of our nurses, doctors, first responders and public servants. Families are spending volumes of time, experiencing true “togetherness” like never before. People are exercising and enjoying the outdoors. However, all of this positivity is clouded by a shroud of fear brought on by the awful coronavirus. Sickness, massive unemployment and the surreptitious decline of the stock markets make this time uncertain and scary to say the least.

At Snable Law, we bring a message of hope to our clients and community. Snable Law is an INJURY firm, in a broad sense— plain and simple. That encompasses not just personal injury from a car wreck or slip and fall, but also consumer injury, including representing those affected by credit scams and ID theft, credit reporting errors and debt collection abuses. There are laws aimed at protecting small businesses. And, despite all good intentions, sometimes that can involve some chapter of bankruptcy protection

In light of recent events, we've seen the proverbial light, so to speak. We are actually growing our practice groups within our firm instead of shrinking. We're not soothsayers or fortune tellers, by any means, but we are charged with being wise counsel. Using our years of experience and wisdom, we can see the writing on the wall. Our team is growing, not contracting. We want to be there for you when you need us most. So, we're there to help assist you in a tough time-- whether you have been knocked out of work by an injury on the job, or been laid off due to the invisible enemy, coronavirus, through no fault of your own. We are here to help the INJURED. We are here. We'll be here. Snable Law-- Lean on Us!
